En'owkin Centre Objectives

Enowkinwixw training1. Operate a quality First Nation Post-Secondary Institution offering educational programs to enhance Aboriginal culture, language, political development and leadership and excellence in Aboriginal arts training.

2. Operate a quality Aboriginal Adult College Readiness Program to assist in adult completion of requirements and skills to enter programs of higher learning.

3. Operate a program for culture and literacy, archives, and educational resources for the benefit of all peoples requiring such information.

4. Operate and offer umbrella services to language, culture and arts associations and collectives to encourage and foster higher levels of professionalism.

Academic Policy

Course Changes:
All course changes must be completed during the first two weeks of classes for each semester for half-year courses or during the first two weeks of September.

Course With drawl:
Dates in accordance with accrediting institutions will apply and must be done through the Student Services Administrator where students must complete and submit the appropriate forms. With drawl dates for each dept. may differ.

Refunds:
All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing. Please note the refund policy is under financial arrangement.

Student Conduct Policy

1. Students are expected to attend the classes in which they are enrolled.

2. Absences from class for two consecutive weeks will be considered a course with drawl, unless faculty is informed otherwise.

3. Students/ staff have a right to pursue their duties in an atmosphere free from verbal, physical, gender or sexual harassment and will otherwise be subject to disciplinary action.

4. Students are expected to submit new and original work for class assignments.

5. Students will be reported to the Executive Director for disciplinary action for causing wrongful injury, violating the D&A policy or who unlawfully enters campus building/ office.
